Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how YQ Business Assurance handles cancellations, refunds, and credits for Business Consulting and Digital Marketing services.

Service Types Covered

  • Advisory Retainers: ongoing governance, reviews, and support.
  • Project Sprints: fixed-scope, time-bound implementations (2–6 weeks typical).
  • Managed Marketing: PPC/Meta/SEO management, landing pages, automation, analytics.
  • Audits & Roadmaps: short diagnostics culminating in an action plan.

Cancellations & Notice Periods

  • Retainers: cancel anytime with 30 days’ written notice. Work continues through the notice window.
  • Project Sprints: cancel with 7 days’ notice. Fees for completed phases and committed resources remain payable.
  • Audits/Roadmaps: cancellable before kickoff; once discovery starts, the engagement is considered in progress and billed proportionally.

Refunds vs Credits

  • Retainers (prepaid): unused future months after the notice window may be credited or refunded net of any promotional discounts already applied.
  • Project Sprints: payments are tied to milestones. If cancelled mid-sprint, we bill pro-rata to completed deliverables and time committed; remaining prepaid balances are credited to a future sprint or refunded on request.
  • Audits/Roadmaps: non-refundable once work begins; if cancelled pre-kickoff, we refund in full.
  • Tooling/Production Costs: third-party costs already incurred (e.g., software, content, video) are non-refundable.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method. Please allow standard banking timelines after our confirmation.

Ad Platform Budgets (Google, Meta, etc.)

  • Media spends paid to third-party platforms are separate from our service fees and are governed by each platform’s terms.
  • Once a platform charges or allocates spend, we cannot refund those amounts. Pauses/adjustments apply prospectively.
  • Budget caps, pacing, and top-ups will follow the governance agreed in your SOW and change logs.

Quality Issues & Remediation

If you believe a deliverable is materially non-conforming, email hello@yqassurance.com within 7 days of delivery with specifics and evidence.

  • We will review within 5 business days and propose a fix, replacement, or a proportional fee adjustment.
  • If remediation is not feasible, we may offer a service credit toward future work or a partial refund proportionate to the issue.

Exceptions (Non-Refundable Situations)

  • Delays caused by missing inputs, approvals, or account access from your side.
  • Performance shortfalls due to product/price changes, supply issues, platform outages, or force majeure.
  • Third-party fees or ad spends already incurred.
  • Completed deliverables where usage has commenced (e.g., campaigns gone live, assets published).

How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

  1. Email hello@yqassurance.com from your registered contact with your company name and SOW reference.
  2. Specify whether you seek a cancellation, credit, or refund, and the reason.
  3. We will acknowledge within 2 business days and confirm the next steps, including any pro-rata calculations.

Taxes & Banking

  • Refunds are processed net of applicable taxes where laws require adjustments or credit notes.
  • If a refund is not possible due to statutory constraints, we may issue a service credit of the equivalent value.
